More than just a growing
Our desire for knowledge and a fascination with botanical curiosities has been guiding us for nearly 10 years on a journey toward a deeper understanding of the plant world.
❋ 2016Our journey began in 2016, when, as enthusiasts of traditional gardens, we discovered the first secrets of plant cultivation. Gradually, with growing experience and education, we naturally expanded into caring for indoor plants as well. For us, plants have long ceased to be mere design elements; they are living beings with their own stories and a unique expression of life that continues to fascinate us more and more.
❋ 2019Our greatest passion lies in the aroid family (Araceae), which offers an extraordinary richness of species. For a long time, we couldn’t choose a favourite, but eventually we were won over by Philodendron melanochrysum (form. Andreanum) and, above all, by the genus Anthurium, particularly species with beautifully velvety, dark leaves. Over time, we began crossing different subspecies of Anthurium papillilaminum with the aim of breeding plants with elongated leaf blades, deeply set sinuses, a rich deep-green hue, and the finest, barely visible venation.
❋ 2021This passion brings us not only joy, but also scientific knowledge, which we have deepened through hands-on experience working with tropical flora at the Botanical Garden of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice (UPJŠ). For us, plants are a journey of discovering beauty, patience, and creativity, and they constantly teach us to perceive the world around us differently. Kríženec s krásnym, neutrálnym tvarom listov a tmavozeleným zamatovým povrchom. Zdravá rastlina, ktorá čaká na svoje nové miesto, kde prirodzene upúta pozornosť každej návštevy.
Pôvod: Holandsko
Nádherný hybrid so zamatovou štruktúrou kutikuly, ktorý očarí sýtozeleným sfarbením. Nový list vždy vyrastá v spektre hnedi a jemne postupuje do zelených tónov. Práve týmto si prisvojil predajné pomenovanie jeho vetvou ‘horúca čokoláda’.
Neštandardne k pôvodne pestovanému druhu A. forgetii tento kúsok nedominuje striebristým stredom listu.
Kombinácia dvoch náramne tmavých a zamatových druhov. Veríme, že napriek materskej A. carlablackiae bude silnou črtou týchto sadeníc pozdĺžny tvar listu, ktorý presadí vetva fortsherman.
